Funded project: 3D product configurator

HOTSPOTBLINDS GmbH is expanding its digital product configurator to include full 3D visualisation. The aim is to replace the static 2D product images with scalable, material-accurate 3D models that also enable direct export to external planning software such as SketchUp.

Aims and expected results of the project

  • Complete replacement of the previous 2D display with dynamic 3D models across all product categories (roman shade, roller blind, roll up, venetian blind)
  • Realistic material and colour representation to support purchasing decisions
  • Direct CAD export function for architects and planners
  • Stronger positioning within the architecture and planning sector, as well as improved competitiveness

The project is being carried out under the “Brandenburg Innovation Voucher for the Promotion of Digitalisation Projects” (BIG-Digital) programme.
